fall fashion ' 08

The day after the Sunway trip, i got really bored that i suddenly thought to myself "hey, let's check out what's hot this fall". So then, i googled 'fall fashion trend' and stumbled to a few websites. Anyways, i just thought of promoting the trends that i like.

1) Blue - The color blue is on fire this season which is really great because i've been wanting to wear blue-colored tops quite a number of times this month. There's a wide range of blue hues to pick from from deep navy to bright electric blue. Plus, this color goes very well with grays, and black (other great colors this fall)

2) Ankle-length booties - This trend is very popular and i just love this Christian Louboutin Booties. It's oh-so-very chic. However, there is a drawback to wearing this shoe as they cut the length of one's legs, thus making this fashion trend less flattering to petite girls like me. I still love these booties nonetheless, and my suggestion to girls below 5'4 is to wear pants with your booties. :)

3) Plaid - let me just say that when i discovered that plaid was in season, i was like "what?!?" Because, I have these plaid shirts that i like to wear (i've worn them plenty of times to class for the past month, btw) So this is definitely on top of my list of fav fall fashion. I also love plaid-print skinny pants; something bout them screams funky and fun! A lil' recommendation: plaid is best worn with dark color bottoms or tops.

4) Florals - I really like the fact that florals made a comeback this fall. It allows one to express her feminine and romantic side with just a simple soft floral dress or blouse. This season floral fashion comes in bold colors as well as blue hues so there won't be a chance where you'd be looking like you're wearing something made from an old curtain. Now, isn't that good news?

5) Military jacket - Another awesome trend. You know what i like about military jackets is the elaborate buttons and the fitted silhouette. I think they look really good with boot-leg or skinny jeans and wide-leg pants. Plus, they keep you warm and toasty in style!
